excellent spot for city strolls and parks nearby

I recently enjoyed my stay here and found the Cortez City Park just a few steps away, perfect for a leisurely walk, and the nearby Cortez Cultural Center was a great spot to dive into local art and history.

It was just a proper fit for a momentary visit in Cortez with best value for money ratio. The room was clean and comfortable enough for our needs. If you need breakfast, make sure to go a bit later than 6am to avoid waiting around.

I stayed in a Standard King Non Smoking room at Quality Inn for 4 nights. The room was clean and a decent size, and the bathroom looked new. The bed had a comfortable mattress, but I faced several issues during my stay. One front receptionist treated me poorly, which made me uneasy about returning. I expected room service as mentioned in their notice, but it never happened. I had to manage my own trash disposal. The refrigerator in my room froze all my food, which was frustrating. On top of that, a dog from another guest attacked me as I stepped outside, which was quite alarming. Despite these challenges, I enjoyed my time when I could and appreciated the clean environment.

The Standard Double Room with Two Double Beds had a decent amount of space, providing enough room for my family and our gear. The bathroom appeared clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus when you're on the road.

The check-in process was a mess. I arrived just after 10:50 PM, only to find the reception closed and zero staff to help. Multiple attempts to call the late check-in number failed, and the breakfast timings were misleading since the area was still dark and locked at 6 AM, despite the stated opening hour. The squeaky bed made for a restless night, leaving me wondering if I was resting on a ship rather than solid ground. Overall, these hiccups left me feeling more frustrated than relaxed.

The ice machine right by our room was incredibly noisy, making it hard to sleep!!! The security system was out of order during our stay, raising safety concerns!!!

I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was recently remodeled and very clean. The bed was comfortable, which made for a good night's rest. Breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. 😊
